At Hotel Pod Debami, Krakow, Poland

The Course starts Sunday 5 August before dinner and ends Saturday 11 August after breakfast. All the sessions are accredited towards ISST certification. The teachers are all well known ISST Teaching Members. Teaching is in English and sufficient knowledge of English is required.


Sunday evening: Welcoming and Opening lecture

Mornings: Monday – Friday;
Plenum lectures on essential topics regarding Sandplay Therapy.

Topics include: Understanding the setting and therapeutic Frame in Sandplay (unconscious impact of arrangement of room, photography and other practis-es); The dark side of the Self; The dark night of the soul, suffering and dark radiance; The Archetypal dimension in Jungian theory seen through sandplay.; The development of ego according to Newman seen in the case of a 9 year old child.

Afternoons: Monday – Friday;
Divide into smaller groups according to level of experience. Each day 4 seminars on special topics or case material. 4 Groups for supervision (10 participants max.) Students present their work. Personal Sandplay process may be available on request when booking. (5 sessions of 50 min. At additional cost)

Evenings: Monday: Barbeque under the oaks, Friday: Special dinner, Other evenings free for discussion, events, films, socializing etc.

COST: includes all tuition, meals, coffee/tea breaks and board in the Hotel Pod Debami. Transport from Central Krakow to hotel will be provided. All rooms with own bathroom facilities . Prices are per person in Swiss Francs (CH) This has been converted to Euros at February exchange rate for indication, but exchange rates may vary:
Twin room (two beds with two persons sharing): CH598 (495 Euro)
Triple room (three persona sharing): CH 568 (470 Euro)
Single rooms may be available at a supplement on request.
